Telor Y Coed is a medium sweet mead which has been fermented from a locally sourced Welsh honey. It is 100% natural.
This mead can be served on its own, or with tonic and ice on a summer's evening in the garden, as an accompaniment to a dessert, or even served warm to keep away the chill on a cold winters evening.
The mead has a light golden colour, delicate honey flavours and a lovely smooth finish. It is medium sweet so it is perfect if you have a slightly sweet tooth, without being cloyingly sweet. It has a similar mouthfeel to a dessert wine.
Telor Y Coed honey mead is 13% ABV and comes in a glass bottle with a resealable bar top style cork. It comes in a 500ml glass bottle.
Telor Y Coed mead can be made into a long drink with tonic or soda water, mixed into a cocktail or added to a coffee with a splash of cream to make a Welsh mead coffee. See our recipes page to find out how to make a Welsh mead coffee.

The Name
Telor Y Coed is the Welsh for "Wood Warbler". All of our meads are named after birds on the British list of birds of conservation concern. Literally translated, Telor Y Coed means harpist of the woods.
